This eye-opening sample pack A Pu-erh Journey was a wonderful challenge to assemble. It was like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. Great care and effort was put into obtaining the right teas. In order to meet the objective of this undertaking many criteria had to be meet, age alone would not suffice. It was important to select teas that have a similar nature and as a result would follow a similar path in ageing. This not only helped to avoid confusion but the connection was vital to providing a significant insight into the mysterious journey of a classic aged green Pu-erh tea.

Brewing Tips: We recommend a side by side Gongfu brewing for all 4 samples in one session. A standard gaiwan /teapot of between 70-80ml is ideal. Flush the leaves with boiling water and brew in the order starting from the youngest to the oldest aged tea. The first 4 steeping times can vary between 15-25s then lengthen. See more
