This limited batch of premium teacakes
(ONLY 8000 pieces) is a special order for the Taiwan market produced
from the famous Pu-erh township of Yiwu famed for its ancient wild tea
trees. The leaves used are handpicked and harvested from centuries old
tea trees. Each teacake is handmade using traditional stone moulds and
sundried. The leaves are very tender and full of flavor. This tea can
easily last up to 10 steeps while leisurely enjoying its wonderful characteristics.
The tea displays remarkably smooth
and enticing fruity characteristics. The tea has excellent clarity and
a soft viscous body. The leaves after flushing offers a sweetly scented
aroma of succulent plums, light florals, a hint of honey with soft undertones
of wood. The tea carries a plummy sweetness, mingled with warm fruits,
a touch of wood and light tannins. The finish leaves a light tingling
dryness at the back of the throat with a soft lingering fragrance.
