The origin of black Pu-erh tea (aka
"shou" and "cooked" Pu-erh) date from the 1970s.
During this relatively short period of time black Pu-erh has easily
become the most consumed type of Pu-erh tea in China. It can be found
in the majority of restaurants, tea houses, work places and family homes
throughout China.
